Picture the night before the test. Your bag is packed, your pens are ready, and your father has asked twice whether “the slip” has come. You open the ETC portal, and the page keeps loading. Or the slip opens, and the test centre is in a part of the city you have never visited.
For every registered student, the LAT roll number slip is the last paper standing between months of preparation and the exam hall. HEC’s calendar says slips for the 15 November LAT will be issued on Friday, 6 November 2026. This guide shows how to download your slip safely, what to check on it, and the mistakes that can still stop you at the gate.

LAT Roll Number Slip 2026 Date: When Will It Come?
According to HEC’s ETC Test Calendar 2026, the LAT roll number slip date for the 15 November test is Friday, 6 November 2026. You will download it from your own account on the HEC ETC portal. As of 29 October 2026, HEC has not yet announced that the slips are live.
| Item | Position |
|---|---|
| Roll number slip | Friday, 6 November 2026 (scheduled) |
| LAT test | Sunday, 15 November 2026 |
| Result | Thursday, 24 December 2026 (scheduled) |
| Registration | Closed; HEC’s portal closed on Thursday, 22 October 2026 |
| Where to get the slip | Your own account on the HEC ETC portal |
| Complaints | HEC Online Help only, not email |
A scheduled date is not a release announcement. Slips can appear a little earlier or later, so check the portal and HEC’s ETC announcements page from 6 November. We will update this page as soon as HEC releases them.
HEC has changed plans for a single city before. In November 2025, for example, it postponed a LAT in Quetta because of the law-and-order situation there. So treat this LAT roll number slip date as HEC’s plan, and let your own slip and any new HEC notice have the final word.
LAT Roll Number Slip Download: Step by Step on the ETC Portal

Many students search for “etc hec gov pk LAT” or “LAT HEC login” when they mean this portal. The official address is etc.hec.gov.pk, and it is the only place your slip comes from. HEC’s own procedures say the roll number slip is generated online, placed on the ETC portal, and also shared with candidates by email and SMS.
Follow these steps for your LAT roll number slip download:
- Open the official portal. Type etc.hec.gov.pk yourself. Do not follow links from WhatsApp groups.
- Log in with the same profile you used to apply. HEC’s FAQ says each profile is created with the candidate’s own CNIC, or a NADRA Juvenile Card or B-Form number for those under 18.
- Open your LAT application. In your dashboard, go to your application for the 15 November test. HEC’s FAQ calls this section “My Application”.
- Find the roll number slip option. Once HEC releases slips, it appears with your LAT application. Button names can change between sessions, so look for the roll number slip, not a particular label.
- Save it. Download the slip or save it as a PDF on your phone or computer.
- Print it. HEC’s test-day instructions ask you to bring a printout of the slip. Print two clear copies.
Forgot your password? HEC has posted a guide called “How to Reset ETC Portal Password” on its ETC announcements page. Use that guide instead of creating a new profile, because HEC warns against duplicate profiles.
If you registered but cannot see your application at all, our LAT test online apply guide explains how the “Saved” and “Submitted” statuses work.
“Free PDF Download” Sites: Why Your CNIC Is at Risk
Search for “LAT roll number slip 2026 PDF download” and you will find websites promising a free download by CNIC or roll number. Be careful. Your slip is personal. It is generated for your application and sits inside your own ETC account.
We found no official HEC service that gives a LAT roll no slip to anyone who simply types a CNIC into a public website. A site that asks for your CNIC, password or OTP is not HEC. At best, it sends you back to the portal. At worst, it collects your personal details.
The safe rule is simple: log in at etc.hec.gov.pk yourself, download your own slip, and never share your password with anyone, including people who offer to “check your slip” for you.
LAT Roll Number Slip Not Showing? 6 Checks Before You Panic

If 6 November has passed and your slip is still missing, work through these checks in order:
- Has HEC released the slips yet? Check HEC’s ETC announcements page first. A scheduled date can move.
- Is your application “Submitted”? HEC’s FAQ says your status changes to “Submitted” only after you pay and press “Verify Payment”. A form left on “Saved” or “Pending Payment” was not completed, and it will not get a slip.
- Are you in the right profile? Log in with the CNIC or B-Form you used to apply, not a parent’s or sibling’s.
- Have you checked email and SMS? HEC’s procedures say slips are also shared by email and SMS. Check your spam folder too.
- Have you tried another browser? Clear your browser cache or try a different browser or device before assuming the slip is missing.
- Still nothing? Complain in time. Lodge a complaint on HEC Online Help and keep the ticket number. HEC’s FAQ also lists the ETC helpline 051-90408184.
Two rules matter here. HEC’s FAQ says complaints sent by email are not entertained. And HEC’s test-day instructions say only queries submitted at least three working days before the test will be entertained. For a Sunday, 15 November test, that means Wednesday, 11 November at the latest.
What to Check on Your LAT Roll Number Slip

Do not just print the slip and put it in a file. Read it the moment you get it. HEC’s procedures make candidates responsible for knowing the correct date, time and venue of their test centre.
Check these details on your HEC LAT roll number slip:
- Your name and father’s name, spelled as on your Matric certificate.
- Your photograph, clear and correct.
- Your CNIC, B-Form or Juvenile Card number, digit by digit.
- Your roll number.
- Test date and reporting time.
- Test centre name and full address.
- Instructions printed on the slip, which apply to you even if a friend’s slip says something different.
Then plan your route. Visit or locate the centre before test day if you can, and work out how long the journey takes on a Sunday morning.
Wrong Name, Photo or Centre? How to Complain in Time
If any detail on your slip is wrong, act the same day:
- Take a screenshot of the slip and your application status.
- Lodge a complaint on HEC Online Help, explain the error clearly, and attach your evidence.
- Save the ticket number and check for HEC’s reply.
- If it is urgent, call the ETC helpline 051-90408184.
Do this by Wednesday, 11 November at the latest, because of HEC’s three-working-day rule. Whatever happens, carry your original identity document on test day. HEC checks identity at the centre, and only HEC can decide whether a corrected slip is needed.
Prevention matters too. HEC’s FAQ says your profile is locked after registration, which is why the name and date of birth must match your Matric certificate from the start.
Can You Change Your LAT Test City or Centre?
No. HEC’s FAQ says the test city “cannot be changed after registration.” HEC assigns the exact centre within the city you chose, and that centre is printed on your slip.
If the centre on your slip is not in the city you selected, treat it as an error and complain at once through HEC Online Help. If it is simply far from your home, plan to leave early.
Test Day: The ID Documents HEC Will Check

Your LAT roll number slip gets you to the gate. Your original identity document gets you inside. HEC’s ETC FAQs and test-day instructions set out what to bring:
| Your situation | What to bring with your printed slip |
|---|---|
| 18 or older | Original valid CNIC or passport |
| Under 18 | NADRA Juvenile Card (HEC’s latest notice); also carry your original B-Form and Matric or Intermediate result card with your picture |
| CNIC expired | Original expired CNIC or passport + NADRA slip |
| CNIC lost | Police report + NADRA receipt for the new CNIC + original Matric or Intermediate certificate or result card with your picture |
The under-18 row needs special care. HEC’s older FAQ and test-day instructions accept a B-Form with a result card. But its latest notice says candidates under 18 who do not have a Juvenile Card should get one from NADRA, and that the card must be presented for entry. If you are under 18, apply for the Juvenile Card now.
HEC also says photocopies and documents on mobile phones are not acceptable, and that a candidate who registered with someone else’s CNIC, or a CNIC differing by even one digit, will not be allowed to sit the test.
Reporting Time: Why 45 Minutes Can Decide Your Attempt
HEC’s Instructions for Candidates ask you to reach the test centre at least 45 minutes before the test. Its test-day instructions are stricter: candidates who arrive after the reporting time on the roll number slip will not be allowed to sit the exam.
Do not rely on a reporting time from a friend’s slip, an old session or a website. Use the time printed on your own slip.
Pack the right things the night before:
- Allowed: a transparent clipboard and black or blue ballpoint pens for the bubble sheet.
- Not allowed for the bubble sheet: lead pencils, fountain pens and markers.
- Banned in the hall: mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, earbuds, vapes and other gadgets. HEC’s FAQ says such items will be confiscated and an unfair-means case registered.
- Also banned: books, notes or papers that could help you solve the test.
Your Night-Before LAT Checklist

Use this list the evening before the test:
- Two printed copies of your LAT roll number slip
- Original CNIC or passport, or Juvenile Card if under 18
- B-Form and Matric or Intermediate result card, if under 18
- Transparent clipboard
- Two black or blue ballpoint pens
- Route to the centre checked, with travel time
- Alarm set so you reach at least 45 minutes early
- Phone, smart watch and calculator left at home
If you still have a few days, use them well. Practise timed sets from our free LAT test MCQs, and revise our guides on LAT essay topics and the personal statement for LAT, which together carry 25 marks.
After the Test: Answer Keys and Result
Keep your slip after the test. Your roll number links you to your result. After the September 2026 test, HEC published colour-coded answer keys on its website, and you can expect the same after 15 November. Remember that an answer key covers only the MCQs, not the essay and personal statement.
Keep the PDF and one printed copy of your LAT roll number slip until your result and admission process are complete. Your roll number makes any later query about your result much easier to explain.
HEC’s calendar gives Thursday, 24 December 2026 as the result date for the 15 November test. For LAT result check by roll number, by CNIC and through your ETC account, see our LAT result guide. For every 2026 LAT date in one place, see our LAT test date 2026 guide.
Frequently Asked Questions About the LAT Roll Number Slip
1. When will the LAT roll number slip 2026 be issued?
HEC’s ETC Test Calendar 2026 gives Friday, 6 November 2026 as the roll number slip date for the LAT on Sunday, 15 November. This is a scheduled date, so check the HEC ETC portal and HEC’s announcements page from 6 November. You will download the slip from your own ETC account.
2. How can I download my LAT roll number slip?
Go to etc.hec.gov.pk and log in with the CNIC or B-Form profile you used to apply. Open your LAT application for the 15 November test and select the roll number slip once HEC releases it. Save the slip as a PDF and print two clear copies, because HEC asks for a printout.
3. Can I download the LAT roll number slip with my CNIC only?
We found no official HEC service that lets anyone download a LAT slip by typing a CNIC into a public website. Your slip is in your own ETC account. Avoid websites that ask for your CNIC, password or OTP to give you a “free PDF”. Only HEC’s portal is official.
4. My LAT roll number slip is not showing. What should I do?
First confirm that HEC has released the slips and that your application says “Submitted”, not “Saved”. Check your email and SMS, then try another browser. If it is still missing, complain on HEC Online Help at least three working days before the test, which means by Wednesday, 11 November.
5. Can I show my roll number slip on my phone at the test centre?
No. HEC’s test-day instructions ask candidates to bring a printout of the roll number slip and say documents on mobile phones are not acceptable. Mobile phones are also banned in the hall, and HEC says one found with you can be confiscated and an unfair-means case registered.
6. What if my name, photo or centre is wrong on the slip?
Take a screenshot and lodge a complaint on HEC Online Help the same day, attaching your evidence. HEC entertains queries only if they come at least three working days before the test. Keep your ticket number, call 051-90408184 if urgent, and carry your original ID on test day.
7. Can I change my LAT test centre after getting the slip?
No. HEC’s FAQ says the test city cannot be changed after registration, and HEC assigns the centre within that city. If the centre on your slip is in a different city from the one you chose, treat it as an error and complain on HEC Online Help at once.
8. What documents should I take with my LAT roll number slip?
Take the printed slip and your original valid CNIC or passport. If you are under 18, HEC’s latest notice says you must present a NADRA Juvenile Card; carry your original B-Form and Matric or Intermediate result card too. HEC does not accept photocopies or ID shown on a phone.
Conclusion: The Slip Is Small, but It Decides Everything
Your LAT roll number slip is one page, but it carries your roll number, your centre and your reporting time. Download it only from your own ETC account, check every detail the day you get it, and complain through HEC Online Help by Wednesday, 11 November if anything is wrong.
On test day, carry the printed slip and your original ID, reach the centre at least 45 minutes early, and leave your phone at home. Months of preparation should not be lost at the gate.
