General Knowledge MCQs for LAT: Free Practice With Answers

Skip the intro and start the MCQs ↓

These general knowledge MCQs are made for the Law Admission Test (LAT), where the General Knowledge section carries 20 marks, the same as English. Many students lose easy marks here because they revise books but forget the news. Each set covers world GK, international organisations, recent current affairs, and basic questions on Pakistan and its Constitution.

Each set has 20 questions. Choose an option and you will see at once whether it is right, with a short explanation of why. Your score appears at the end, and you can try a set again as many times as you like.

How to Get the Most From These MCQs

  • Read the explanation even when your answer is right. It often teaches you a second fact.
  • Write important names, places and dates in a notebook and revise them before the test.
  • Spend a few minutes on the news every day. Current affairs questions are about recent events, so keep up with what happens before your test date.
  • Try a set again after a day or two. The options are shuffled each time, so you learn the answer, not its position.

These practice questions are prepared by the Qanooni Dastak team. They are not official HEC questions, and the real LAT may ask different questions. Current affairs questions are based on events up to the time each set was added.
